So far for the 2025-2026 cycle I've raised a stunning 3.4x as much for Democrats as I had at the same point 4 years ago...and 2.6x as much as I had at this point 2 years ago.
In August 2025 specifically, I raised 5.2x as much as August 2021 and 87% as much as August 2023 (remember, this is comparing against a POTUS cycle).
In terms of category breakout, so far this cycle I've raised:
- U.S. Senate: $12,949 (4.8%)
- U.S. House: $91,858 (34.3%)
- State Legislative: $94,182 (35.2%)
- Govs/AGs/SoS: $5,930 (2.3%)
- Courts: $27,410 (10.2%)
- State Dem Parties: $24,026 (9.0%)
- Local/Other: $11,268 (4.2%)
As for social media engagement, August was something of an anomaly: While Bluesky once again kicked Twitter's ass in engagement (3.6x as many link clicks per follower), it was only slightly ahead in terms of actual donations (1.2x as much as Twitter per follower):
For the cycle so far, however, BlueSky has still generated 5.1x as many clickthrus and 2.0x as much raised per follower:
